The left 12v outlet in my truck does not have power, I've tried swapping the fuse without success. I even pulled the fuse from the right outlet and switched it with the left outlet fuse. Is the left outlet switched? I'm wondering if it is turned off somehow, I do have forscan so I could probably pop in to see if its somehow disabled.

The fuses that feed the two power ports are located in the Battery Junction Box (BJB), fuses F10 and F16. Are these the fuses that you checked? Yes the power ports are both switched by a relay in the BJB.

Take it out. Use a voltmeter to see if you have power at the plug. If so, bad outlet. If not, go back to where the wires go to. Maybe someone can show you a wiring diagram. But work backwards.

As someone who went thru this recently - Make 100% positive your adapter is good. Both ports are fused independently. I had an adapter that had an intermittent short which would blow the fuse. The first time I looked at the fuse it looked OK, but it was indeed blown. Replacing the adapter and the fuse fixed it for me.

Did not confirm power to the fuse yet but I did confirm that F10, F16 and F17(In bed 12v) are all good by swapping positions. I did confirm the adapter I'm using works as both the ones I have both work in the right outlet and in the bed outlet.

Have you scanned for codes - The BCM c kill power (until a reset) is performed. It protecting the circuit. Now anything plugged into the (PowerPoint) The Adapter Itself, or items plugged into it can trigger the (FET) protection.
So as others have stated, pull the panel and check for power at the connector on the port itself, if no codes are found and a BCM Self-Test Reset - does not bring power back.

scanned for codes, only code was from when I replaced my fog lights with a set from diode dynamics but the 12v outlets has not been functional for more than a year and the fog lights were last month.

Late follow up but I ended up tearing into the dash since my second 12v outlet up front died last week. Upon pulling the panel that houses both sockets I confirmed I had voltage to both. The. I disconnected both and confirmed continuity from each pin to its respective side of the outlet and when I reconnected them they both work. The pins and connectors on the back of the socket look like new with zero corrosion and they were firmly seated before I removed them to check continuity. I have no idea why they both stopped working but it seems like disconnecting and reconnecting solved the issue.

Following up to my extra late follow up! Got in my truck this morning and the passenger side outlet was dead again. I'm going to order a replacement socket and see if that's the issue.

Replaced the sockets about a month ago and have not had an issue since. Looks like the sockets themselves were failing.
