HAs anyone else looked at the space between the cab and box. I wash my truck regularly in the driverway. My 2020 was full of leaves and sticks. Today, I have used the garden hose, my air compressor air and "carefully" a streched out clothes hanger. I still have old leaves and sticks at the...
if your Ranger has aluminum knuckles and you can use the Belltech control arms to improve your suspension geometry if you have steel knuckles you are out of luck. I contacted the Belltech Brand Manager by e-mail when I discovered that the arms that were being advertised did not work with steel...
I did get my Ranger lowered 2/5. My alignment shop was not able to get the truck with-in factory spec alignment. My camber is at -1.9” and my caster is at +4.8”. I was able to contact the Belltech Brand Manager and all she would commit was that they have plans on developing the UCA with...
Thanks you for the pictures. Looks like you found the fix for Belltech arms. Unfortunately, outside my current skill level. I am more at 2 wrenches level and that looks to be 4.
still looking at control arm solutions for lowering my steel knuckled 2020 Ranger. Has anyone had any luck with SPC adjustable control; arms? or are they more for adjustment of raised Rangers.
It did it yesterday again. I took the USB flash drive out and put it back in, I followed the instructions to turn off the truck ,open and locked the door and shut it and waiting 2 minutes before restartig and it still did not work. I parked the truck went in the house 2 hours later got in and...
I use a USB drive with my music and evry once in a while the music freezes and if I take the drive out and reput it in the USB slot it begins to play again. it seems like the USB ports do not hold tight.
Question for all the Ranger folks who did the 2" inch Belltech drop of the front without their contriol arm replacements. Since I dont have aluminum knuckles and Belltech does not support iron knuckles, How far out is your front alignment ( or how close to spec) can you get your front alignment?
So I am understanding you have yet to find a solution? I contacted Belltech. For whatever reason they asked for a picture of my factory spindle, so I sent them a photo showing a magnetic attached to the spindle. I got a reply in minutes.."Unfortunately, we do not have any control arms that...
In the old days, when my dad ran a machine shop in the back of a NAPA, and I was fixing/building cars in High School ( 70's) the counter guys by sight often could direct you to a workable fix. Now its Year, brand, model, engine...
I can hope. I sent an email to Belltech this evening. The ball joint is bolted to the arm so it must be replaceable. I asked what the ball joint is that is on the arm as assembled and if there is a replacement correct balljoint for the metal knuckles.
well new surprise. I finally getting ready to put my Belltech kit on and I go back on belltech site and see the control arms I ordered are for only alumium knuckles. I took a magnet to my 2020 ranger and the magnet sticks, so must NOT be alumium. Anyone else hit this snag?
any thoughts/experience since you lowered your Ranger? How low did you a lower? I have Belltech kit just waiting for weather to cool down before getting under the truck. I was think 2 front / 5 back. I ordered and received the control arms too.
I have the kit to install just have not got it on yet. But do you have any tire rubbing issues with your wheels outside the fender lip and being that close to the fender lip. How much did you lower and what are your wheel /tire sizes?
Question: What is the size of your tires and wheel width and offset. I see you have MKW wheels. My local guys are all about going higher and off the road. I just want a nice road truck like yours.
