Lane Keep Assist disappeared

2021 Ranger Lariat Tremor - I've had lane keep assist turned on from day one, but the other day the system just stopped working. The lines disappeared from the display, and I don't get any warnings or feedback anymore.

The system is turned on in the menus. I tried cycling the options around, but it just isn't working anymore. Is there perhaps a button or setting that I'm missing?

I've mucked around in Forscan a few times, but not recently, so I don't think it's anything I did in the computer.

Any help is appreciated.

Edit: I'm a dumbass. I completely forgot about the button on the end of the signal stalk. I must have bumped it by accident.

Push the button on the end of the turn signal stalk. This turns it on and off.

Yes - I actually turned it on by accident when I first got the truck, went through the IPC menus as well- WTH? - trying to figure out how to turn it off, dug out the owners manual and READ the section about lane keeping assistance- and then gave myself a you Dumb*** , now it’s locked in memory on where it is, In the end of the turn signal stalk

The second thing I disabled, (ASS being first), always hated being told to stay within the lines ...

It's named incorrectly...should be "Lame Assist"...

You'd think with ALL these stupid assist vehicle have now, car collisions would go down...nope. If anything, it make people reliant on them (along with other distractions ?) and they forget how to drive lol.

The one on my wife's Muranno will pull you back in the lane , freaked me out first time it happened , it likes to slam on the brakes and scare ? you with alarms when backing it into the garage , I do like that overhead camera view though...

MY2020 had it on when I picked it up, I turned it off within days.
Recently I wanted to turn it on . Well after looking through the menus & not
finding anything I looked through the manual.
How quickly we forget.

I’ve never done that . At our workplace there’s a common line for this kind of stuff … “Just ASAP it”.

I did not know people really even used this. I don't think I have ever turned it on.

Honestly the dumbest thing to have a dedicated button for especially on a lever like the signal lever.
