Is this normal? The yellow line? Does anyone else have it?

It's probably a reference line for the camera configuration/calculations and what it's looking at.

You would think that it would interfere with the camera.....

definitely not a defroster as my camera froze over last week when it was snowing here in CO and disabled lane assist, while flashing a whole slew of warnings at me on the dash
I had a warning flash at me last week (and it persisted as a code in the PCM) that the windshield was dirty. I did a quick washer blast and a couple of wiper passes and it went away. I can see how the camera would be sensitive to a dirty window....

yep definitely agree, one annoying thing I've noticed is when I'm driving and its snowing out, all the freaking sensors get iced over pretty quick and the car just straight yells at me until I either hit "Ok" or just disable the parking sensors and lane assist with the physical buttons

Yea, we had wet slushy snow up here and my adaptive cruise control came up as a warning of not working. Just like in my 2015 Explorer the radar sensor would get packed w/ snow and all that needs to be done is knock it off and it works again.
