Wow. You may be my build twin. Was just about to order my Iconic Silver XLT FX4 some of those method 316s and I have a 2.5” factionfab level, tremor fender flares, and some 275/70/17 KO2s waiting to put on once I make a decision on wheels. Could you post pics from straight on so I can see how far those wheels poke out?
Sure! Yes, our set ups will be similar. My truck is getting the LT kit installed now, so the poke will be out more than normally because of the longer arms. Can’t wait to see your build!?

Build update

I got the Baja kits long travel and Kings installed. I have it set to 2.5” of lift and the extended brake lines added.

Since the arms are 3” wider, there is poke. It definitely feels a lot smoother now.

So I decided to return the Coopers (33s) and will get Nittos (34s)

The fenders should be going on tomorrow.

Hey Jeremiah, what wheels are currently on in the pictures. Are they the stock wheels? If they are stock wheels are you running any spacers? Also can you take a picture behind the tire to see the amount of room you have between the tire and spindle/uca?

Hey @gryder I currently have the stock magnetic wheels with no spacers. So it’s +55 offset. I attached some pictures. Hopefully it’s the angle your looking for.

Thanks for the pictures, that’s what I was looking for. I was always curious if the stock wheels would clear the Baja kits LT setup, especially when it says to run a wheel backspacing of 4.75 max. That’s good to known your tires and wheels clear the spindle/uca. I know superdannyboy was wondering the same thing.

Looks like I might be looking into a LT kit after all. I just didn’t want to have to change my rims. I’m running a 17x8.5 +35 offset.

Those should work. I think the concern is tire size you will run. With a 32 you should be clear. But I’m not sure with a 33 or bigger

I’m running a skinny 33. 255/80/17. Which to the looks of it will clear. I think a 35x10.5x17 might even clear.

Also, will you be taking pictures with the stock wheels after you put on the fiberwerx fenders, or will you have already put on the new wheels? I’m just trying to get an idea how it will look with the LT arms, fiberwerx fenders and high offset wheels. Ive already seen pictures of Rubins truck build which is running a low offset, +5 I believe.

The 35s I think will need to have crash bars removed. It might fit with the bars in but at compression it could rub.

I’m posting some pictures of the fenders, kit and oem wheels. Honestly, it doesn’t look bad at all. The fiberwerx glass has a great cut. Gaps were for the most part equal and straight. There is a little of work that needs to be done but majority of it is good.

Build Update:

Fenders installed by Drew’s Fabrication.

Picture quality might not be the best. It was taken by the shop. I screenshot it from their Instagram.

Note:
Like others have said. You CAN remove crash bars without cutting them. At least the rears. However though, I have fiberglass so it was a lot easier to remove the fenders at the bottom.

Looking good Jeremiah! I really like how it’s sits with the stock offset. It’s almost flush. Cant wait to see it all painted up, what tire size are on your stock wheels?

Build Update

I have the tires and wheels installed now. So the front end is complete as of now. Will eventually get a bumper, limit straps, bypasses in the near future. But as of now, I’m very happy with the way it looks. I won’t be color matching the fenders just in case I decide to change to ADVs. The front is almost 10” wider over stock!

Future plans will be to do the rear, probably around the end of the year

Note: I’m also selling the old tires and wheels. 265/70/17 General Grabbers (<5,000 miles) and Sport magnetic wheels.

Now for some pictures?
