What in Sam Hill is that thing? I've seen rain showers but man, that'll give you brain damage!

Did someone mix up the bidet with the rain head?
I think the previous owner hired an Australian plumber. ?

lol right! Like we don't have any homes here that are over 30 years old and those that are, are all falling apart.
show me some from the time when george washington's parents were just coming of age. and i mean privately owned ones used as residences, not museums.

All new structures here are built to withstand 100+ MPH hurricane winds …
Blowing in the Wind, would face it better? or rotten by rodents
anyways, I wish u and ur partner to stay healthy i this plastic cage.
and if it was only a promise of a marketing cocaine nose u spent the rest of ur life trying to judge the contractor for compensation? and the rodents partying in the meanwhile?

btw.: read this study resume slow and careful?

but the point was actually that the entire building is a pile of highly toxic hazardous waste that can only be disposed of thermally at very high energy cost when its unnecessarily short useful life is over...

i know, that's the only way to create "economic growth" in a completely glutted market.

my gosh. what part of "it can't go on like this" don't you get???

read the study i linked above and ask yourselves objectively where this could come from.

oh and please leave out any religious and moralistic nonsense! we're all adults, aren't we? and feudalism aka elitism was never a sustainable model of society. even in the darkest early middle age!

cheers. enjoy ur very short off season.

That's an impressive level of condescension you're carrying "over there", Gerd.
Is it heavy?
like feather in the wind, sweetheart.

Many historical home were turned into museums over the years so people could tour them and see the history. Whether or not someone is actually living in them is irrelevant, they're still around today. Besides, they're VERY expensive to maintain and had very little insulation as they were built totally different back then. There are many still around in MA from way back to the late 1700's.

Below are a few example and here you can see many more.

My toughest move physically was my last into the 2-story where I live now. Myself and friends did all the hauling and moving ourselves with our own trucks (no moving vans or U-hauls) from one point in the city to the other. The big challenge was getting the furniture up to the 2nd story. The stairs do not go straight up but the landing between the 1st & 2nd floor reverses direction creating a tight turn around. The king size bed especially was a lot of work to get around the landing. Fortunately this is a safe, quiet neighborhood and hopefully won’t ever need to move again... :)

I know this is an old post to comment on, but damn, are those encyclopedias? Anyone under 40 wouldn’t know what those are used for. We used to have Britanica, New World And Word Book.
