The roof is now completed and the HVAC is getting roughed in now. We met the electrician yesterday to walk through the lighting, plugs & switch layout and today we're meeting the plumber. It's usually tough to get things done around the holidays so it was nice to see that my builder has some really great subs working hard.

I see some asshat poured a concrete slab over the giant hot tub I wrote into the plans…

…and that post is supposed to be a pipe so we can run the keg lines though it.

Idiots!

No problem, I’ll have that slab out this weekend…

No problem, I’m a bit busy getting my own place together after moving in but I can still make time to figure out the best way to make Dave’s place great for parties. I’m holding off on replacing a bunch of plumbing fixtures here until I see what Annie has chosen for their place.

Now, I’d never copy their design - but I’m certainly not above swapping out their stuff for some of the things I inherited.

I wonder what Annie might think of this gem…
