Any help would be much appreciated!

My interior lights stopped working. Just the map, dome light etc. Dash lights work. Bed light works.

They dont work when I open the door, or when I manually switch them on. I have checked every single fuse in all compartments. I have checked the dimmer. The dash recognizes that the doors are open, so I know that door open/close switch is working.

I am at a loss. Any ideas?

Attached are wiring diagrams for the interior overhead lights. Does your glovebox light work?

Before diving into electrical issues, check to make sure that the 3-position toggle switch between the front two overhead lights is not pressed to the right. It should be in the middle position. The right-hand position turns off all interior lights.

Ill check the glove box tonight.

Yes, I made sure that rocker switch is in the middle. I actually tried in all three positions.

Try - checking for codes as the FET might have been tripped, plus do not forget that each individual light is also a (Push Button) On/Off Switch. (Press on the actual light)

The glove box is not working.

I am worried about it being a mouse... Wouldnt know where to begin to identify that...

Is there a way to tell which specific fuse this circuit is connected to?

There is a 125 amp fuse in the battery junction box BJC that supplies the Hot at all times shown on the above schematics. I doubt that it is blown as you would have many other issues. The interior lighting is protected by FET output circuits in the body control module BCM that will act as electronic fuses if too much current (short) is detected and remove power to the affected circuit. To see if a FET is tripped, you can use a program such as Forscan with an OBDII adaptor on a Windows computer to look for DTC trouble codes.

Since the glove box light is not working, are your vanity mirror lights working? They are on the same circuit as the glove box and interior overhead lights.

If you press the toggle switch (located between the front console lights) to the left, do they come on?

There is a dark car feature that can be programmed using Forscan. If that is set on, the interior lights won't come on when a door is open.

I would think its not dark mode... reason being I cannot manually turn the lights on.

The Interior lights are tapped power from Fuse 67 (Engine Bay Fuse Box) however this is a 50-Amp fuse that has other power feeds - mostly the RH exterior lights, so it's not a fuse

Again - If you press the (LIGHT) do the lights work?

You possibly have a short on the circuit and the (FET) Protection has triggered, think of this as an electronic CB that can reset itself.

So, check for codes in the BCM and also perform a BCM (Self-Test) Reset with a scan tool or Forscan

If you are comfortable with a meter we can proceed with some wire checks for power.
Note: The Rear (OH) Light Assembly is a Lamp Controller for the circuit and also note there is a known problem area at the Drivers Visor (Vanity Mirror & Home Link) shorting out the circuit.

So, the first things to check are (BCM-Codes) - for short circuit faults
and
pull C237 and check for power on Pins 28 & 34 - Upper - this will verify power (out) of the BCM if no power on these pins, then the FET has tripped power off.

Pin 28 = Courtesy - This is the (Door Open) Lighting Circuit
Pin 34 = Demand - This is the circuit that controls (the light switch & rocker switch) output and also is the (Dimming) circuit (lights dim down and power off)
This circuit is spliced on the power feed with the courtesy circuit (inside the BCM)

Another point of isolation is - Do ALL 4 DOORS, register door ajar on the IPC? when opened and message is not displayed when the door is closed.

The above is a good starting point for T-Shoot and depending on findings, dive deeper into isolation of the circuit.
If this turns into a proven short circuit, I highly suspect the driver's vanity mirror and HomeLink.
and would be the first spot to check.
Again, this is just a POSSIBLE at this point.
Also, a FYI - as Ford played with this - you MAY or MAY NOT have a Glove Box Light on your truck, some do not have it (Even the Lariat) my 2022 has it.

I can confirm (Silent Mode=Enabled) the dome lights are disabled (auto-on) from door ajar and ignition cycle they work normally if the rocker is (Left) and the individual map and or dome light (switch) is pressed.
This confirms that this is a circuit issue (power or ground) so the dark mode or silent mode is not the issue.
If you have Silent Mode (Forscan) mod it adds a selection to the IPC Menu screen - (Silent Mode)
This is not a factory setting; it must be a Forscan Mod to get it. (FYI)
