Thank you Jake. Interestingly, the dealer should have told me it was only my model and not other Ranger models. Makes sense though and after reading the other owners issue, I feel that I'm in the same boat, but when they first ordered the part; they said the part was going to be available to them at the end of August, then told me October 20 or 21. So maybe at least I could be one of the first to get one..? Been all bad dealing with Ford CS; people there tried to do a Lemon-law by back through corporate (I said really?). Two days later the rep called me back saying "denied" (I would have guessed that). There are NO loaners and no surrounding rental companies had cars. The CS mgr found me a Hertz rental car that I've had to pay for and they said I'd me reimbursed. I was able to get a company car from my employer so I turned in the rental and that was 2.5 weeks ago and submitted my receipt (over $1,000) and they won't even call me back! I have bought several Ford vehicles over the years, paid cash and NEVER had problems like this. The CS people sound totally untrained and very young....Yes, I've seen a couple other people with the issue.
@rydfree has been dealing with the same issue for quite a while.

Kind of odd it's the driver side on lariat trim's...
They claimed to have done that and Ford Corp denied it. I called an attorney, he gave me a few terms to mention and that'll I'll do tomorrow. Thank you for your input! If you bought it new, look up the Lemon law for your state, follow the guidelines and formally request a buyback. You can’t lose.
You need to file with the state. Don’t expect Ford to hand over a new truck. They claimed to have done that and Ford Corp denied it. I called an attorney, he gave me a few terms to mention and that'll I'll do tomorrow. Thank you for your input!
Oh my , I'm beginning to think this may be a Lariat issue and coincidence that it happened a few days after I installed the spacers. Has yours been leveled out ?Hello good people. I have a 2020 Ranger Fx4 with just 10k street miles with a bad front left half shaft that leaked and failed. It has been over 3 months since the Ford dealer ordered the part! The vehicle is immobile! Anyone else with this issue?
As far as I know Lemon Laws have not been changed. One peculiar part of the Texas law is if they give you a “comparable” loaner it does not count towards the 30 days. Good luck. The are a few threads like this. I’m curious how the lemon law will apply in situations where the manufacturer cannot remedy the situation because they are unable to procure parts from their vendors.
Yes, mine has had some work done but I was watching all of it and done professionally and no need to pull the half shafts all the way out (I have seen that mess before). Here she is...Oh my , I'm beginning to think this may be a Lariat issue and coincidence that it happened a few days after I installed the spacers. Has yours been leveled out ?
Yesterday I talked to the parts manager at the large dealership that my Bronco is ordered thru and he says his information shows the middle of November now . He also was concerned that it would get pushed out furtherThe notation on the backorder said delayed due to excessive demand . Sounds like there is a widespread issue to me .
Agreed. It’s probably not even a warranty repair now.I hate to be the one to say it but those modifications probably killed any chance of Lemon Law.
I certainly will once this thing is concluded (however it goes). About the upgrades; it's basically a Tremor Ranger now but with different parts. I didn't want to go too high because of warranty and center of gravity issues. The dealer said it was all warranty (excluding non-Ford parts). So when/if they ever get the part in, they'll take it.what Ford does, and what you do regarding the problem are two entirely different things.
that's like asking one bad cop to another if he saw anything illegal happen during that arrest?
care to share what those terms were? be good for others in the same boat to save a few dollars talking to attorneys as well. we all know they don't offer advice for free
