I just changed out my old Linksys router for a new TP-link...Pretty straight forward but Blink Cameras posed some problems that took a while to understand. The Ranger no longer connects to the new network but I do not care as I hate and do not use sync as it is never worked worth a damn for me. My Boss, Derek K. of a time became Ford CEO a few years later and pushed Sync out before it was really ready. Complaints were so much he lost his job in the revolving door called Ford CEOs

Sad has he was really a good person and great leader, and he did Ford a real favor by canning the Brit, Richard Perry Jones...Over inflated ego the size of the Chinese Balloon.

Best.

We have a good connection to our truck but it takes hours to update the software, so we gave up on it. What should we do? Give up on this danm update? I asked our dealership who said "the only way to update is Wi-Fi".

Just answered your post in the other thread. Forget about updating over WIFI. Go out to Cyan Labes website and download their CYNC updater software and update using a USB drive.
