They only have pictures of it on a Tacoma , but the relentless fab gives you a similar idea of the look on a ranger . Although the RRW is a different design. It’s called a hybrid because it’s part plate bumper , part tube. It’s plate metal in the middle and tubes towards the sides, thus making it a bit lighter than a full plate but still rigid.Cool looking...what does it look like on a truck and why is it called a hybrid?
HAHAHA ! you "bumped " the bumper thread ! Those do look sweet though...Bump for this thread! What’s the deal with this bumper? It’s been a year since the original post.
I know this question is a year old, but hey... hybrid refers to they hybrid of tube and plate in the bumper. You have tube bumpers. You have plate bumpers. And you have hybrid tube/plate bumpers.Yea I dont get the hybrid designation. What does that mean.
Also going to be offering rears soon….Here is an update for those that are interested...

Sorry idk what you mean by that..Oh noooo...where do you mount the tire crash bars?!?! ?
There's faction within this forum who believe that removing the tire crash bars (front/rear) is sacrilege and will result in tragic loss of legs if there's an offset crash...although, Ford routinely delete these bars on their "Raptor" series...Sorry idk what you mean by that..
Just the front ones, or do they remove the rear of the tire well also? There's faction within this forum who believe that removing the tire crash bars (front/rear) is sacrilege and will result in tragic loss of legs if there's an offset crash...although, Ford routinely delete these bars on their "Raptor" series...
I couldn't clear any of the bars with 285 and 2.5" lift...didn't see any point in wasting money on untested "slim" aftermarket bars...Just the front ones, or do they remove the rear of the tire well also?
I’d assume just the fronts….
Depending on tire size it still might make sense to get the high clearance ones for the back set? (Since it’s right at the cabin area?) although if you’re in a collision hard enough to defeat all the other obstructions between you and the offset front impact… vehicle is basically done for and would be a salvage build for someone else.?
((Sorry I just ordered some high clear crash bars and wondering if I should’ve just allocated that money towards a fresh bumper.))
Oh! That makes sense! But! No they don’t mount there… and yes mine are removed lolJust the front ones, or do they remove the rear of the tire well also?

Would that be 285/70 or 285/75, but I suppose the 70-75 is almost a negligible difference like 3/8 to 3/4 inch?I couldn't clear any of the bars with 285 and 2.5" lift...didn't see any point in wasting money on untested "slim" aftermarket bars...
