HVAC button lights (electrical gurus come on in!)

Question for any of you electrical gurus here!

I want my HVAC buttons to be lit up with the key on not just when the headlights are on... Can't see the damm buttons when i'm wearing sunglasses! I know i'm not the only one that would love to be able to do this!

Anyone have access to a wiring diagram? Or a good way to go about this...

I can't see the darn things either so I usually have to turn on the lights real quick so I can see the buttons. Would be nice if there's an easy fix,besides being younger with better eyesight.

I always forget you can do this. This is my first truck to have all these features on the touch screen. Great now my mind and my eyesight are going!

I'm usually on Car Play or maps and going back and forth is annoying...

Hit "Climate" and all the controls are there.

Yes, I'm not used to the features either.
