The little loop that the striker latches too on the right rear door if my truck is not aligned correctly causing the latch to drag when opening. I know how to adjust the loop, but my questions is does the plastic cover just pop off. If I break something that's on me, so I would like to avoid that. It looks like it should just pop right off, but I want to make sure before I start. Any help is appreciated.

I took it by the dealers body shop to ask, and the manager said they would just take a rubber mallet and beat it straight. No.........that ain't happening.

Wow Jim I cant believe they said that to you! I mean that's usually my solution for things along with Duct tape but cant believe he said that.

On a side not I saw my first Bronco Sport yesterday on my way home from work. Guess what color it was....Area51! Wow that color looks so nice and I might just have to change mine now too. I wish I could've seen it up close but she was a beauty from afar! ?

First, I've got to where answers like that doesn't surprise me anymore. What he didn't understand is that if I brought it back I would make sure the mallet think wouldn't happen. They don't know me well in the body shop, but I can turn on my southern charm quickly if needed. If no one knows about the little plastic cover here I'll take 'er back in, and get it fixed. It's nothing serious, just one of those little annoyances.

I saw two babies in my town on the same day last week. We drove over to a Charlotte dealer that had an Area 51 baby. The color is quite impressive in the sun, and changes somewhat in the shade. I can see now why the color is so popular.
