6k miles and 5 months on my lariat tremor with tow and B&O sound.. it has seen long road trips out west, about 30 hours off road with rocks, sand, and fire trails. Mods are a bed mat, bed power, and baja designs squadron pros mounted in the bumper...About 22 mpg average with 87 octane. The thiing rides smooth (no bounce), fun. and im happy - smiling..

I really like that machined/satin finish on your grille surround, are they still putting that on any Rangers or was that a previous option?
As far as I know it's still the Ranger XLT grill with out the Sport Appearance Package

Apparently about 9 months for me ... LOL ... I really enjoyed the Ranger, it was just a tad tight for an old big boy like me.

See my post in So Long, Farewell. LOL.

My present 2019 Lariat Super Crewcab is our 4th Ranger in 33+ years, all bought new. Two previous pickups were full sized Chevrolet C-10 swb Custom Deluxe models. '76 (bought used) and 1981 (bought new).

My key to happiness: don't settle for less that what you want (mostly!). First Ranger was a good case in point. 1988 'Summer Edition' XLT was two tone, deluxe stainless mirrors, sliding rear window, deluxe velour/knit cloth interior, ps, pb, ac, am-fm-cassette and choice of 2wd powertrains. drove several, best deal was on a dark blue on light blue, blue interior, 2.9L, 4 speed auto, tilt wheel with cruise control.

(Note: Unable to view numerous image CD-ROMs from before 2005 for unknown reasons. Anyone know the secret to 'unlocking them' please let me know.)

A 2.3L, auto, swb XLT, red on white with red interior was very appealing but the 2.9L won out. $11k sticker for $10K. Added Trac Lok, bed rails, pop up moonroof, splash guards over the years. 110 estimated RWHP was very adequate for the era and largely trouble free for the 13 years and 181k miles we drove it.

*****************************************

The Ranger that still sticks in my mind was on the showroom floor at the same time we bought our '88. Two Tone, green on beige Supercab, XLT, 4WD, 2.9L w/auto, lovely alloy wheels and tires, power everything, Premium Sound and dual fuel tanks. Asking $15k as I recall - way out of our range. Always wonder what happened to it. Similar to the following except for the color and aftermarket accessories.

Leased mine in Feb 2019. Smile is still here so I'm buying it off the lease when it expires. Figure the NEW Ranger will be available in Late 2022 so I'll see if it's worth trading in for in early 2023.
