So I decided to get crazy and break out of home confinement for some "essential" lawn and garden supplies. I was loading some fertilizer and tomato plants into my truck when a couple in a Corvette stopped and complimented the Ranger. That made me smile. Please don't rat me out to the governor.

Not much driving right now, but still smile when I look at her...which is as often as possible :giggle:. Tomorrow is 9 months from taking delivery and I've only got 9500 miles - put less than 300 miles on her in the last 7 wks :frown:

I'm not that far behind you.,I've got 5450 after 9 1/2 months. I still have no clue how Sid put on 30,000 miles in under a year! lol Good thing is I can write mine off.

Yah, I normally put 12-15k a year...this stayin' home is keeping the miles down A LOT. I've only put gas in it twice since March 13th (normally every 7-10 days).

I was on track to average somewhere in the ballpark of 30k miles a year as well. Sitting at a little over 20k right now, over the last 11 months. The Ranger is our adventure and travel vehicle. And since we usually go on a trip almost every weekend, those add up. It slows down a little to about 2k per month in the winter, as opposed to 3-4k per month during the rest of the year. We would certainly still be on track for somewhere in that range if I had been commuting for work the last 2 months and we had gone on the half dozen or so trips we had planned between March and June.

I've owned mine for 4 1/2 months. Made 3 car payments.

I smile every time I see it in the sun, or see other Rangers on the road.

I've busted my a$$ to get to the point where I can buy a new car, and not wring my hands over covering the monthly payment - for both me and my wife.

I will always smile.

Yeah, I took delivery in August 2019 and have only put about 7,000 miles to date. Usually, just my DD. in fall and spring would put me over 10,000 per year, not to mention recreational travel during breaks, etc. The only positive here that I can see is that our Rangers will last longer this way!

Owning a 5th gen is like owning a chihuahua, you never understand why anyone loves either of these two until you own one yourself! ?
