How about when floppies where really floppy and only held 360 Kb. Oh yeah the processor only ran at 4.77 Khz. Those were days.
What's the baud rate?? Important question in the early 90s.
Our first desktop computer was a Bell & Howell wit a giant 3.2 gigabyte memory and 300-something Mb processor. It had only one floppy disc slot and a separate phone modem. This was when my wife was just getting her home business going and so we installed a dedicated Internet and fax line.

My Commodore 64 had a 600 baud modem. Back when bulletin boards ruled and the first gm parts network was easy to hack into. Then came Compuserve and gifs graphics ?. My first gateway computer was $4k and had a 25mhz processor plus a Colorado tape drive for backup. Back when DOS was king.

My first PC had "turbo mode" that ran at a blazing 7.16Mhz!!!!! And a beautiful green monochrome screen! No hard drives either - just a whole box of floppy disks.
My first, Tandy Coco (COlor COmputer) no floppies, just a cassette player and tapes. Soldered a RAM chip in to double memory. Think it was 8k to 16k, not positive, my dynamic memory is failing.

Baud comes from 1875 baudot code and is the speed of transmitting one symbol. ie. 1 baud = 1 symbol/second.

TCP/IP basic are pretty much decribed in here..

The "new stuff" we are using is actually pretty old and stuff which is hailed as revolutionary is usually invented somewhere between 2000BC and last century.

I remember when streaming was cheaper than linear TV. Now, its more expensive. And... you can't have one service, you have to have them all. Shows jump between the services and its super annoying.

I've never wanted to sail the high seas more than I do right now.
