I have both POP & Sundance and they have some good shows on them. Sadly we've become a society where those who have "thin skin" have more say so than the rest of us. They'd be mortified if they grew up with the shows we did like All In The Family and the Jeffersons.
Dont forget Married With Children.

I heard this week there was a Tesla road tractor that caught fire somewhere in northern CA.
50,000 gal of water to put out the fire, plus fire retardant dropped in the area. Look it up on USA Today. Not a pretty picture for anyone involved.
On I 80 in the Sierras. Shut down both east and west for hours...?

OMG I just went thru that, so I go wherever I want and as I pull in there it is like I don't like their so and so. You would think with a double master's degree in I know everything there would not be a problem.

I USED to say "Guess where I'm taking you?" and then take her to the first place she mentioned.

She got wise to that after too many successful guesses and now we're back to "I don't care, what do you want?"

So I go where I want, sometimes OK, sometimes with weeping and gnashing of teeth.

What's worse is when they say "We always go where you want to go"!:angry:

I know this is humor, but it is a good time to revisit security.

Simple cure. Turn off saving the browser history and delete all caches on exiting of your browser. The settings are all there in Privacy and Security. And use KeePassX (or KeePassXC if you want to sync your password DB across all your device platforms.)

Once you migrate to KeePass, you simply highlight the entry and press CTRL-U to open your broiwser to the login page for that web site, then highlight KeePass again and press CTRL-V to have it log you in. You can alos simply press a button to copy your Userid and paste it into the field, then copy and paste your password.

It is very easy to use and setup. And it uses military grade encryption.

I only know one password, and it is the password to my KeyPass vault. And my password are all very long with all manner of key combos.

Here is an example password of 35 characters. You can set password length up to 64, and characters to include / exclude.

It amazes me the sites people will go to using a work computer, assuming that they are not being monitored.

Several years ago I was doing some IT work for a large customer and we happened to be in front of their proxy server and the proxy filter was on the screen.

I mentioned "That's an interesting proxy filter you have there" and he replied, "Yeah, I know. It's built from sites that our users have gone to on their workstations."

So I pointed to a blatantly pornographic entry and said "Someone went to a website named THAT on their work computer?"

"Absolutely. And if you look at this one here, the police came and arrested the user."

Just because you're behind a keyboard and a monitor doesn't mean you're anonymous.

And if you're using a computer supplied by your company, that came to you already set up, you can bet it's likely tracking your activities.

Nefarious? No. The computer belongs to THEM.

They're just providing it to you to help you do your job.

If you want to do extracurricular activities on the computer, get your own and use it instead of the work supplied one.

Annie works remotely ever since Covid and was given a company laptop. You're 100% right on this as it tracks her every movement and site she's on. There's a little green dot that shows that she's online (it's supposed to be so her team can see who's on to contact them) and the IT can track everything remotely. I've asked her a few times to look something up (for my truck) while we were traveling so I didn't have to get my laptop out and she wouldn't do it. Not that it was anything bad but she didn't want them to think she was using it for personal use because others have been caught doing this and it's highly frowned upon.
