I know this is humor, but it is a good time to revisit security.

Simple cure. Turn off saving the browser history and delete all caches on exiting of your browser. The settings are all there in Privacy and Security. And use KeePassX (or KeePassXC if you want to sync your password DB across all your device platforms.)

Once you migrate to KeePass, you simply highlight the entry and press CTRL-U to open your broiwser to the login page for that web site, then highlight KeePass again and press CTRL-V to have it log you in. You can alos simply press a button to copy your Userid and paste it into the field, then copy and paste your password.

It is very easy to use and setup. And it uses military grade encryption.

I only know one password, and it is the password to my KeyPass vault. And my password are all very long with all manner of key combos.

Here is an example password of 35 characters. You can set password length up to 64, and characters to include / exclude.

I'm wore out just reading that.
Or you can simply live with the risks.
It amazes me the sites people will go to using a work computer, assuming that they are not being monitored.

If you want to do extracurricular activities on the computer, get your own and use it instead of the work supplied one.
Way back while I worked at IBM I was aware of IBM snooping techniques (I helped design them).

I had a business laptop that IBM insisted that I use. I accepted it, but then purchased another IBM laptop and built the corporate image minus a few key software packages. I used that laptop for years inside the IBM firewall and no one knew the difference. I did log on quite regularly with the real corporate laptop image to fulfill my corporate duties, to show usage, and to regularly update the corporate software (bloatware), but all work was completed on my personally owned laptop, many time with privately owned tools not available within IBM. I did this for most of my career at IBM.

It helped that I designed the corporate computer workplace images that ended up in all IBM PC Company employees worldwide. I knew exactly how to leverage the weaknesses of the system and skirt big brother.

All the techies in IBM hated the corporate restrictions, and most found ways around them. It has gotten harder as the control systems have matured and locked down. Spoofing a MAC address is relatively easy, but there are many more issues embedded in the BIOS to deal with now that lock down systems and hand control over to the corporate overlords.

I will say that I stayed inside the corporate firewall 100% of the time while I worked at IBM/Lenovo.

You have to be stupid to use a corporate system for personal use.

I remember those days (well nights mostly) all to well. During the summer we'd all go down to the Burlin Turnpike in CT every weekend night. Back then everyone with a nice car/bike would hang out there. It was a fun place to hang out and see a lot of cool cars, trucks and bikes and many would drag race out in the industrial park. When it's hot out you'd be plastered with bugs (just like this guy) and constantly stoping or trying to find a way to clean your shield off. I use to keep a small spray bottle of glass cleaner under my seat and would go through it every night. I miss riding but this sure brings back some of the bad things that go along with it.
