Hey guys
I'm having a pretty difficult time finding the part numbers for the outside side mirror covers, in iconic silver. The lariat has the body colored side mirrors and my XLT does not, so I'd like to upgrade. Can anybody help me find the part numbers for both mirror covers in silver for my truck?

The mirror covers for the Lariat are different than an XLT. The Lariat has cutouts for turn signal lights. They will not work on the XLT. Also, I don’t think Ford commonly sells pre-painted parts. Most are sold “ready to paint”

XLT Cover Part number 5
Lariat Cover Part number 7

Yep I ended up discovering that in my searches. I guess I'll just table this idea for now. Didnt notice that sneaky turn signal at first.

If you’ve got to have them painted anyway, why not remove and paint your existing covers? I have not looked at the XLT, is it textured plastic? Even so, a D/A sander and maybe a little filler should do the trick.

I painted the mirror covers on a couple vehicles. Small change, I think only I noted and appreciated. The nice thing about that part is, even if the colour is off slightly, you don’t notice. If you paint your door handles, you need to be almost spot on.
