Each time my transmission has problems it takes 4-6 weeks to get on the dealers schedule and then another 1-2 weeks for them to fix it.

During this time I drive my vehicle as little as possible because these transmissions can be pretty extreme.

Has anyone had luck extending the duration of their PremiumCare ESP due to time the vehicle was in the shop/broken?

If so, please include any relevant numbers/information.

Thanks

Ford customer care team provided me with a Premium care esp after my last repair for the hvac issues I had and paid out of pocket for. I had no warranty on the truck previously as I bought it used and it was out of the manufacturer warranty. I would call the general line at 1-800-392-3673 and see if they can open a case with the customer relationship center. The ladies in that department are really nice and helpful. I’ve spoken to them a few times due to all the problems I’ve had with my truck 😅. They might be able to help you with your request. It’s worth a shot.
