A couple of things...

My first (half) week of work went well. I'm going to love it at my new job, I just need to get my feet under me and get some quality work turned out. I was told on Thursday, "You seemed like you really wanted to work here, but we didn't really know if we had a place for you. But we also really, really liked you, so we'll figure it out as we go."

I made a few social media posts for my new job - it's pretty fun! And I'm proud to say I started out with my own photography instead of reposts (that will come though). And then to make my week even better, I woke up early and went to the range with my former boss from my old (2 month long) job at the local Ford dealership! It's been since February since I've pressed the trigger in any kind of live fire and I am so glad for the range time.

I am loving my situation!

My first official social media post!

And my second!

And from this morning! (These made it up as posts to the AmDep social media too! Mostly because they gave me the range bag on my first day of work. Hahahaha!)

Congrats @Glocker that looks like a fun job. They are few and far between.

I picked up my little pocket blaster today. Glad I waited, price dropped from $300 to $250. No reason not to carry everyday when you have great options like this, just disappears in my pocket with a pocket holster. Tiny compared to my other carry (G19) and no doubt will be much more reliable than my other pocket gun (Beretta Tomcat).

I have that same Ruger .380.

So very compact. Terrific carry gun.

I had a Desantis pocket holster called the Nemesis from my other gun and it is a bit nicer than the Ruger one that came with the gun. If you're pocket carrying I can recommend it.
THIS it?

I've been fighting the itch to buy a Springfield Hellion (what a retarded name).

I wanted desperately to love my Tavor, but the accuracy (confirmed across the internet basically) beyond CQB is absolute garbage, even with match ammo. AUG's are just a no-go for me. Recent testing puts the Hellion above both in accuracy.

I was surprised these were priced around $1500 - figured they would be much more.

But man... $1500 can get some fun stuff for the truck...

It's a good looking shooter! I was surprised by the pricing as well.
