So to preface this, all my suspension parts have showed up and I’ll have them installed this Friday. Everything is sitting in my livingroom so my wife is well aware of my purchases to say the least.

Yesterday, my wife saw we had a gun show coming to town in a few weeks. She gave me the flyer and I told her very casually “Perfect, I’ve been in the market for a new gun. Hopefully I can pick one up when we go.” Well now, let me just say that the face she made was enough to bring a grown man down to his knees ?. Seed is planted. Now I just need to slowly ramp up the idea until it’s normalized subconsciously. It takes time but most forms of art do. Rome want built in a day. (Destroyed yes, but let’s not dwell on that).

Haha, In all seriousness, we have a very good marriage. She’s stuck by my side through thick and thin and couldn’t imagine myself being with anyone else. But we like to poke fun at each other once in a while all in good fun. My wife has a good sense of humor.

The Henry AR7 is another rifle that you can break down. Barrel & action stores in the stock along with 3 magazines. I have shot probably 6-8 different brands of ammo with only one problem. I still am amazed that I can assemble this rifle in less than a minute. Then shoot 4 to 6 bell ringers out of 8 shots at 100 yards.
The original AR 7 was Made by Armalite, I was going to steal one from the C-130 Life Rafts but I thought a pilot would like it more than me ..
ArmaLite Inc.

The prototype of what would become the AR-7 was designed by Eugene Stoner at ArmaLite Inc., a division of Fairchild Aircraft.

New barrel came in, finished with my EDC! I can’t wait till it gets more range time. Been living under a rock past couple years since ammo skyrocketed but looks like ammo prices is finally coming back down!!

Hi Mark! Yes I do, T1C is well worth the wait for their product. It is quality and comfortable. I shaved down the concealed carry pads(forgot official term) as they were too thick at first. Looks great with a loose shirt, not noticeable at all even with an extra mag.

I wish I could find some semblance of comfort in an IWB holster, but just cannot seem to.
Good on you for putting together a rig that you can happily use.
Just call me green with envy... :)

I never could either Chris. I've tried so many different ones and they're all to cumbersome and get really hot. I like my OWB and it's super comfortable. At least here it's not a big deal (for now) if it shows or prints a little like it was back in MA.

Thanks Chris! I honestly would rather do an OWB holster but I rather not have some wild karen go crazy here in CA because she saw printing  I find the IWB holster/belt needs to be repositioned/pulled up when sitting for multiple hours. I find sitting for long periods of time to be quite the issue with IWB.

Funny enough, I dealt with this karen type attitude back 6 years ago when I was travelling around Lake Tahoe on the Nevada side. I was open carrying with an OWB holster and decided to stop by the 7-11 for some snacks. I walk in and instantly get looks from a women and man shopping. The women decided to ask me questions like "is that a gun?" "why do you need that?" "that is more danger to you than it is to others, blah blah blah". The man says things like "are you really that afraid of people that you need that?" "is that even legal to have in public?"

All in all, I reminded them of my legal right to open carry and gave them logical reasons to their idiotic questions. When I went to Utah even the cops didn't care I had a pistol in the glove department when reaching for my registration. Did not phase them. What a blessing and difference to be in a gun appreciative state. @AzScorpion this last little bit definitely was reminded from your comment.

Exactly why after being raised in an elitist rat race city all my life, I think rural life would be a good change or try at some point. Sadly, the partner is resistant to that idea.
