Gas strut lbs per strut for A.R.E. truck cap/topper

Anyone know approximately how many lbs per strut I need for the back window strut on a A.R.E. CX Revo truck cap/topper?

I know the window is 18" long and the strut is 12" but I'm not sure how much that back window would weigh approx?

I'd guess around 40-50 lbs per strut should work fine for most ARE rear windows, but you might want to call ARE directly since they'll know the exact weight of that CX Revo glass.

I have replaced mine on a previous camper shell and I remember the weighting being in the 20-30lb range. I'd go with something similar to what Carl posted.
