Has anyone purchased an A.R.E cap for their Ranger. I just had one installed two weeks ago. It looks nice but now I'm noticing issues.

When I first got it, I noticed it had been cut to fit properly around all four corners. Didn't think much at first. Then it rained. I found water inside. The dealer tried to seal when installed but it is leaking.

Looks like the back and back corner is leaking. Also, the drop down slider looked wet. When I dropped it down, I noticed it has a paper like foam gasket. This is poor.

Now, the front, where the gate is, looks quite bad. The corners that were cut are rough. The seals are hanging below. This was done to allow the gate to open without contacting anything around it. The cuts aren't even symmetrical. There is also a big gap which may have let a lot of water in on one corner.

The gate on the right doesn't have an even gap with the frame.

The shocks are make a noise when the the gate is opened and closed.

I am going to talk to the dealer soon. Wanted to see what other experiences were like. I am thinking refund. These things aren't cheap.

It also worn a small spot of paint off the tailgate from the gate rubbing in the corner.
