I installed my FH seat covers. I got them off of Amazon after seeing a picture of them on armoredpig's Ranger.

It was not an enjoyable experience, lol. I'm not as limber as I used to be.

I then took it for an actual drive for the very first time. I drove it home from the dealership last Saturday and was just focusing on getting it in the garage so I could rest and unwind after coming home from a week's vacation at the beach.

I really like the Ford Performance/Borla exhaust and got to enjoy it this evening. The lovely wife met me in the driveway when I got back home and she says it sounds like a lawnmower, lol! She hasn't ridden in it yet, maybe she'll change her opinion.

The Bullet Liner and some tint are next. If not this week, maybe next week.

I love this truck, by the way.

Can you share the link where you purchased the seat covers on Amazon?

Yes, let us know exactly which FH seat covers go with the Ranger. Those look nice.

Here they are.

There's shiny gold emblems on the seat covers where your upper back is. I taped around them, scuffed them up and painted them flat black and then shot them with a matte clear coat.

I didn't use the headrest covers.

Let's see.

I ordered a pivot storage box for the bed of my truck. It came in the next day.

Attempted (This is important word here) the installation my self yesterday, in my Ford Factory sprayed truck bed. You know, the one where the robot (or human) sprayed all the bolt holes essentially closed? Proceeded to get a bolt stuck in one of the said holes, then stripped the head of said bolt so I couldn't get it out.

Took it to a dealer this morning, and they got it fixed and installed for me for under 100 bucks.

100 bucks well spent after the frustration I went through last night.

Finally adjusted my headlights down now that it’s getting darker earlier at night and later into the morning. Took longer to mark the garage door using the Ford Performance kit instructions than it did to actually adjust. Not sure why I waited so long... been since March when I installed my Eibach kit that I‘ve meant to do it!
Just adjusted mine last night to get them where they should have been when I asked the dealer to do it. Makes a huge difference when things are done right...

Changed the air filter and added the pigtail to the battery for the charger/maintainer I bought back in the spring. It comes with both the clamps and the pigtail. Surprisingly the filter wasn't all that dirty for being off road a lot and living in this dust bowl. :tumbleweed:

You must've added extra wire to it because it barely reaches the end of the battery. You set it to AGM correct?

One question because the direction are not the best on these? It's like any other trickle charger where it will just automatically shut down once it gets to #4 full charge then maintain from there if there's a drop right because there are like 8 settings?

Nevermind I was overthinking it as usual. :headbang: I forgot I had this video saved and it looks like the same one as Fords.

I had to do that, too. :) The engine doesn't look like an engine when it's not there.
I'm just wanting to cover stuff up on the top side of the engine. After off-roading, I hose off my engine bay to wash away the dust and/or mud. If it deadens the sound of the direct injection pump, that will just be a small bonus.

Took it in for its 1st oil change and had them take a sample to check for fuel in oil. Did not rise but a tick from the top hole. But had a slight scent of fuel to it.
Keeping my fingers crossed. :fingerscrossed:

I have heard of this issue. I had someone flash me last night with their high beams thinking I had mine on. They must have been surprised when my lights got even brighter when I showed them nope, low beams are blinding you.

Actually it was yesterday. I had the local dealer install the Ford/Fox Performance front struts. Using my rewards points it only cost me $168. Figured that was well worth it as it maintains the warranty and if I have any issues it's on them.

Oddly enough they were not able to do the alignment. Told me their machine has not been upgraded for the Rangers. I have an appointment next week with the local Goodyear dealer for the alignment.

I swapped the rear shocks myself.

Here are the required pics.

Was the $168 out of pocket cost just for the labor, and you bought the Fox/Ford Performance leveling struts yourself? I was given a $2k quote for parts plus install on the same thing.
