Do not have access to a windows computer unfortunately.

If you are using a Mac, then be sure the USB is set up correctly. Many have had issues with the USB setup on Macs.

Ford made a change with MY20+ APIMs. If you use the Cyan Labs process where the APIM gets reformatted the APIM could be bricked. You can use Cyan Labs for MY20+ vehicles as long as you follow their instructions. The issue can also affect older vehicles if the APIM was replaced with a newer version.

Alright boys.
Got it fixed and updated.
Pulled the battery for about 15 minutes. Put it back in, did the update, and did a master reset.
Does this fix my bluetooth and Ford Pass issues? Don't know yet. My standards are high and my hopes are low.
I'll try to remember to update if it fixed the issues or not tomorrow.

Should fix all the Sync functionality issues. As far as FordPass, I believe you’ll need to reactivate it.

I had the same problem with my radio and screen going blank. Long story short, I had the radio replaced by the dealership. That took care of the problem.

Thank you for the negative news. Out of warranty so I would rather drive this thing off a bridge than deal with my local dealership.
Fixed for now with the update, but definitely lost some confidence in it.
