Last year there were thousands built and sitting on dirt mountain. This was just taken on Saturday, look at how many are built and sitting outside freezing waiting for parts. ? I wouldn't want mine just sitting out there like this all winter.

I hope they have a good set of jumper cables.
I know vehicles are tested for extreme elements but this is just crazy! I'd rather have mine sitting waiting to be built than just sitting outside for months like this.

To tell the truth , at this point I would just like to know my July 2020 reservation was out there somewhere . Instead I still have no clue when Ford will build it :(

I also have a Lightning reservation within the first couple minutes of the reveal and have not even received an invitation to order it yet . Tomorrow will be the 4th wave of invitations sent out and if i don't at least get a chance to order , Ford can shove it .

I'm >< close to being over the Bronco as well .

I got a build date on my January 22 order and it has now been pushed back well over a month from the originally scheduled date. Seems likely that just keeps happening. Maybe I get some ford swag out of it.

its like stock vehicles on dealer lots.
many of them sit in the elements for weeks or months.
True but when you have a customer ordered one they shouldn't be built then made to sit like this. More than likely they'll be fine but would you really want your $50K Bronco built just sitting out there? Me personally I'd be mad because mine will never see these kind of conditions but I know a lot of them will. Just my OCD kicking in.

Over the years I've purchased a couple of new cars that had sat on the dealer lot for months , but I got @ 4-6k off of MSRP .

That's just crazy Benny! My friends wife has a day 1 order and still nothing from Ford. Meanwhile others are getting theirs with 2021 reservations. :headbang:

It's fine. They won't be any worse off. My cars all sit outside all year and still last more than 10 yrs. Never have ordered a new vehicle and never a clue how long they sat on a lot. Also have bought previous year models as new with no issues.
Think of it as additional extreme weather testing. If it runs and looks good when you get it, you got a good one.

#metoo. I placed my reservation as soon as they announced it. But after seeing the $19500 price tag for the extended battery on the XLT, I decided to let that reservation die. Now I'm sitting and waiting for my 22 Ranger to be built instead.

I got over the big Bronco when there was no Green color…. But that’s another story for another forum…

But those vehicles are maintained by staff. They clean them often to keep them looking fresh for customers.

My loaded up Badlands Bronco was going to be my nicer vehicle with all the bells and whistles and I wanted a Pro model Lightning with standard battery and just a couple options . It was going to be my daily driver to work so don't need a lot of extra creature comforts in it . My round trip to work and back is only 7 miles and I only tow my tractor short distances so the Pro would have been perfect as a first EV for me . Now the Pro model is already sold out before my first 2 minute reservation can even be ordered . I may just keep the res and see when a Pro becomes available but how Ford is treating reservation holders is beyond unreasonable IMO .
