i believe your trip is uphill to the tune of a few hundred feet on your way south.
So the trip back home, even with get-homeitis, you should get some extra mpg's
something to look forward to.
Seriously?
I though us Kanucks were smarter then that. Ever look at a map?
Dude! the USA is down, will get real good mileage & back to Canada is up on the map, expect much worst mileage. Man, some people, I tell ya.

Taking the Ranger on a road trip with the Family from Vancouver to Anaheim (Disneyland lol). Getting my first service done with Ford before the trip on Tuesday (leave Wednesday). I'm super excited to take my new truck on a proper road trip.

Any Tips on Getting better fuel economy or what to prep?
I literally live 8 miles from Disneyland. Used to be able to get discount tickets but that’s changed from 5 years ago. They just opened the new Wild Rivers water park 2 weeks ago about 15 miles from Disney in Irvine. Knott’s is also fun. There’s great shopping and food variety in one place at the Irvine Spectrum and Fashion Island in Newport Beach. Personally I stay away from LA unless it’s Griffith observatory or Universal Studios. Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and the walk of fame is way overrated in my opinion. Okay did I say I hate LA yet, OC is way better, Seal Beach and Balboa Island are great beach places to walk around.

If you are looking for a good spot to eat or enjoy the day just let me know, I’ve lived here for 55 years. PM me if you have any questions while you’re here, or post before you arrive.

Also if you decide fast food Mexican, stay away from Taco Bell and go with Del Taco… your lower intestine will thank you. If you want really good Mexican food I have quite a few suggestions for authentic like you were in Mexico.

Thanks! I got 2 boys, 6 and 4 who are beyond excited, think we’re doing a day at knotts splash park.
I used to spend my summers down in Pomona with family and would go all over, I found Hollywood pretty underwhelming and much preferred the beaches, might try Huntington Beach this time with the family.

Cool so you know the area.. ā€˜nuff said. Downtown HB has changed in the last few years for the better.. I can remember 50 years ago surfing almost everyday there ?. Yeah I’m that old.

ENJOY!!

Update: made it to SoCal with no issues, we averaged about 25 MPG (9.4km/100). Truck was amazing and I couldn’t of been happier with it.
