I'm new to FORScan, so I want to confirm steps to take to reset the BMS (2019 Ranger Lariat) after I replace my battery (in a day or 2). Is this correct: 1) go to "service functions" tab, 2) select BECMB, 3) click "run service procedure", 4) click "ok".
I assume after I click ok I may get some kind of, "do you really want to do this?" message.
Also, I set up a dashboard in FORScan and included the battery days in service PID. It shows my battery days in service as 1078, which isn't correct as it is a 2019 and the battery's never been replaced. Is it possible some kind of automatic procedure reset the date? If I go back 1078 days from today, I was on a trip with my travel trailer, so it's not a point in time when the battery was low from sitting for a long time.
Thanks for any replies. Mark
