To top it off 75% of the materials, and batteries come from China. By all means we need to make a country that hates us make all of the money they can. Ummm a Communist country that controls us by withholding resourses we need ain't a bad thing. Nope, not a bad thing at all. SMDH

It recalls what an old LT told me many times. "Ignorance is bliss".
What's happening now is by design - started long ago....hold on to your hats....

and they were so happy right?
happiness is the key to a fulfilling life
Having grown up in NY state and split season tiks for the Buffalo Sabres - was a fan of Tim Horton, besides being a great hockey player he was reportedly a super nice guy, I think NY state has the most Tim Hortons outside of Canada and they do have good donuts, lol. - but IIRC Horton's merged with Wendy or Burger King. Recall Horton dying in his Porsche on the QE going well over 100 mph and with an excessive BAC .

Although the Denver Avalanche won the Stanley Cup I don't follow hockey anymore, liked it in the old days where the fast skaters could routinely get past defensemen on breakaways, that video of Bobby Orr taking the puck from behind his goal and single handed skating the length of the ice and scoring is a classic. And in the pre helmet era when players got into fisticuffs they could actually do some damage and the refs usually didn't intervene until the combatants fell to the ice.

Has anyone ever even seen a Rivian on road? I never have even in Telsa-riddled NJ. EV vs ICE aside, in this economy you're not going to sell a lot of $70k vehicles.
I live in the metro detroit area and see one every other day or so. Maybe has to do with there being a Rivian office around here?

Working in the semiconductor industry I've been handed my walking papers 3 times. The first time was a surprise, each time after that I saw it coming. Seeing it coming never made it more fun. Hopefully these folks either have a secure retirement lined up or find other work quickly.

They're pretty popular around here. I've seen a handful or two.

Surprised so many seen them. I've been around a dozen or so states and have never seen one in my life.
They're a lot smaller than I thought they would be. First one I saw, I thought it was a Maverick.
