i towed a kubota b20 home today, the redarc tbc worked like it should, but twice i got red flashing. red arc says bad “earth”. only thing i can think of is the ground pin on the trailer was dirty. also- brakes were not that strong on the dual axle trailer either. maybe the brakes on a wheel are stuck ? trailer hasnt been run in a while.
any ideas?

also- unloaded on level 3 the trailer brakes would lock up, but loaded up at level 10, did not feel strong at all. i figure at 10, max load, i should be able to lock up the brakes…

Sounds like the trailer brakes really need to pulled apart and inspected. If it hasn't been towed for a while probably inspect and maybe repack the bearings while apart. Could be bad wiring, bad coil, corroded parts. Don't want to risk bad brakes.
