hotwheels has a 2019 ranger raptor 1/64 out now. i picked one up and decided to make it look a little more like what mine will look like after i do the suspension drop and some other tweaks. its not finished yet; i still need to so some body filler since the casting was pretty bad. im also going to dig out my dads old airbrush and see how bad i am at airbrushing.

Looks good. How'd you lower the stance on a hot wheels?

I have a few of the Ranger Hot wheels, and I ruined one by drilling too aggressively and chipped the bumper on one.

to lower the stance on the ranger, i used a very thin saw and cut into the plastic above where the axles sit. i removed the axles from the rolling base and glued them into the slots i cut. i then had to file the bottom side of the roller to give added clearance. the little humps on the bottom were sitting lower than the bottom of the tires. if i can remember, ill take some pics when i get home of the thing disassembled. there are also a lot of people on youtube that do custom hotwheels that i used for inspiration.

i know it doesnt look like it but there is enough clearance that it still rolls like factory.

they are carrying the Maisto model. I'm quite impressed with mine, it sits in the dash recess....but i wish it was HPR. I'll try and get a spray can at some point and paint

Quite a bit of the orange ones are still out, the new blue, black, and red ones I haven't seen anyone with any in stock yet.

I jumped in and purchased a Blue one to match my truck. I will create the FX4 stickers and will document so others can copy the procedure. I have done this for pinewood derby cars. Take an image of the desired sticker and reprint on a transparent label. You might need to goof around with the size, so don’t print on the labels until you have got it right. Usually turns out okay to use.

My Blue Ranger came in yesterday. It looks pretty good in person for $14. I bought a display case as well so I can display it in my home office with other ‘stuff’ I have out on display.

I got mine on Monday also. I am quite surprised on how detailed it is. Except for a clutch pedal..... it looks really good.

I got mine on Monday. They called and let me know the red one wasn't going to be made anymore so they couldn't offer it and took it off my pre-order. I ordered two blue and one red. There is orange as well.
