Ford Performance tuner question

hey guys so I have had the ford performance tune on my truck for about 2 years and im kind of wanting another tune. That being said, is there anyway I can add another tune to the tuner or would I have to buy a whole new tuner with tunes and keep the FP one as a paperweight since its VIN locked?

The Ford Performance ProCal 4 is a rebranded Livernois MyCalibrator. The Livernois software can see and read my ProCal so you may be able to use it to install Livernois tunes. Give them a call and find out.

I did that. It's locked to ford performance. livernois can't unlock it.

That's to bad considering Livernois developed the FP tune and it is listed on their CARB exemption.

If Ford Performance pays someone else to develop a tune for them and then sells it as theirs they are most certainly responsible for it.

My post states they can’t be responsible fo OTHER tunes added to it branded handheld. They only have one tune certified.

it is possible that an updated tune is out for your ford tuner. connect it and see if any new downloads exist. if so its likely nothing huge, possible shift strategy or something small changed.
