I have a child that has a hard time getting into the truck. I don’t really need/want a full length running board. Wondering if you all know of steps that only assist rear door passengers. Perhaps something that electronically folds up tight and unfolds with the locks? Any solutions to this problem from the parents out there? I don’t have a lift.

For my wife for the f 250 I took a small plastic stool, tied a rope to it so she could pull it in after getting in. Can be used for any spot or vehicle.

I’ve been looking for a rear bumper step, I’ve seen this one from Bestop.
Haven’t really found anything else that fits, anyone have those? I’d be looking for something a little less costly but if that’s all there is that’s the way I’ll go. Thanks

I have one. I like it. It's not difficult to install but it would be a lot easier on a lift.

Nice!! My old knees aren’t working the way they used to so I don’t like climbing up on the bumper ??

Can you guys get up and down with the step onto the tailgate? Or, is it just for getting things out of the bed?

No, it's a regular step up to the gate. I couldn't easily get into the truck without a step ladder so I needed a boost. :)

I use Tyger for rear bumper defense and as step for RTT management...the factory plastic on the bumper scratches very easily so I avoid stepping on those trim...

Thanks. Yeah, I am looking for something to get myself up to the tailgate once it is down. Being slightly on the shorter side does not help with this truck.

Yup, that's what I've got, at about that price.
And it works great.
Pricey, but it only hurts once.
I don't regret it, and I don't think you will either.
Just my opinion, since you asked.

I have a lot of difficulty getting up into the back of the truck, even though this is just a Ranger it’s still very tall for me. Just don’t move like I used to.

Yes, a little pricey for a step. Once you have it and find out how much you will use it, it's worth every penny.
