So I will try to make sense here but I am not very good at electrical stuff so please bear with me.
I am looking to add strobe warning lighting to my truck. Because I have an aftermarket bumper and I am not using the stock fog lights, my friend recommended we wire the lights into a plug that will fit the harness, and use the button to turn on/off the lights.
While looking into the feasibility of that, I found that the fog light button only works if the headlights are on. Is there any way (through forscan or otherwise) to allow that button to function independently of the headlight controls?
I know this probably isn't a very common issue and search didn't help me so I figured I'd ask.
