I have regular DRL's turned off.
I'd like to add LED fog light bulbs.

I guess the easier question is can I have the fog lights on all the time?

Sure, if you hate people

LOL!
I see Ford Ranger ads with just the fogs on.

The manual says

Press the control to switch the fog lamps on or off.
You can switch the fog lamps on when the lighting control is in any position except Off and the high beams are not on.

Except the setting probably resets every key cycle. That likely defeats the purpose of the solution you're looking for. You could tap into the DRL wiring and direct it to the fog lamps, that is, if the canbus is stupid enough to not realize the power draw.

Thanks, I'll just run without DRLs.

I'm not 100% on this but I think Bambi mode, enabled with Forscan, turns the fog lights on whenever the headlights are one. Check the Forscan thread.
If I understand Bambi mode correctly, I think it leaves the fog lights on when high beams are on-by default the fog lights turn off when you engage the high beams. I don't think it turns on the fog lights with the lights automatically. But I could be wrong.

I'm running just my fog lights and parking lights for DRL. Turned off the low beams and the fogs on in Forscan. Initially had just the fogs but added the parking in Forscan also. I also installed switchback bulbs in the turn/parking, so now I have white parking and Amber turns.

Which switchbacks did you install? Any other LEDs? And finally what were the forscan settings?
Thanks!

They're not Fog or Driving Lights. They're Pothole Finding Lights. Fog lights should be amber-to help cut through the white fog color. White light just exaggerates its color. Ditto snow

These are the switchbacks I used:
https://amazon.com/gp/product/B07WPTQR73/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Planning on doing LEDs in the high and low beams and fogs, just haven't decided on what to install yet, There is a good thread here on headlight LEDs i'm following.
https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/led-headlight-bulbs.4589/page-27#post-132814

To get the fog lights only as DRLs edit the following in the BdyCM as built:

726-45-01 xxxx 7Fxx xxxx (This allows more options than disable and low beams)

726-50-01 0886 ( this worked for me to just have fogs. I found somewhere in the forum)

I added the parking lights to DRLs in the BdyCM using the new menu option.

By the way "allcos", fogs is what they are called in Forscan.

I'll double check my edit now that it stopped raining here
I stand corrected! I checked my BdyCM and yes 0482 is the correct entry for 726-50-01 to get just fogs.
