Yeah, no bulb to replace. Only thing you can do is replace the entire assembly. Lots of options depending on what you want to do.Some I'm guessing you can't just replace the bulb than?

Do you think and XLT assembly will fit the lariat? The bulbs I bought are the twist in type.Yeah, no bulb to replace. Only thing you can do is replace the entire assembly. Lots of options depending on what you want to do.
Yes, the XLT fog light assembly should swap right in, uses the same 4 screws and electrical connection, I think.Do you think and XLT assembly will fit the lariat? The bulbs I bought are the twist in type.

But why would you want to? The halogen reflector assemblies are junk.Yes, the XLT fog light assembly should swap right in, uses the same 4 screws and electrical connection, I think.
Which assembly would reflect better? But why would you want to? The halogen reflector assemblies are junk.
I’m putting lasfit switchback led fogs in.The OE LED fog light from a Lariat is way better than the halogen on the other trims. Putting an LED bulb in a reflector that was designed for halogen bulbs, will likely result in poorly aimed reflections that are not shaped right and could result in glare for on-coming traffic. If you want to upgrade from Lariat LED, the best options are other LED DOT/SAE certified fog light assemblies. There are several options, I chose to get the Diode Dynamic Elite series kit for the Ranger.
I would suggest seeing if there is a projector fog housing that will work on the Ranger with those lights. You can't install it in the Lariat LED fog light, and the non-LED fog lights are reflectors for halogen bulbs, and as far as I've found that LED in there is not legal for road use. Off-road, fine. While suggested projector housing may not be legal either unless designed for that LED bulb, at least there is a better chance of get it aimed in a way to not cause excess glare.I’m putting lasfit switchback led fogs in.
Digging around i can reach the bulb and remove it from the housing and put it back. However there is not enough slack for me to undo the bulb from its connector.
So what are the proper steps to access the fog light bulbs?
Thanks!
