The 2017 ranger wildtrak has these weird caps that create a water tight seal to protect the bulbs. I was wondering, those who have successfully removed this cap, have you managed to do it without removing the whole light unit from the vehicle? If so, how? I have spent some time trying to get a good grip, but its near impossible.

TIA

I believe it’s a sealed unit.

So how would one replace the bulbs then? I was referring to this cap by the way:

Can't speak for non US models but here in the states we have been lucky enough to have just enough room to remove the cap with the assembly mounted. It may not be fun but it can be done

I have same on my Ranger and Everest. They are just tight without much room to turn, but they do turn.
