Yeah, that would be bad.
But let's say you need a green laser for another reason. Where exactly would someone get one of these?

Lots of green lasers on Amazon, but finding actual specs like power output and frequency can be a challenge from the Chinesium vendors.

You need a 1W laser at close range. Common low power green lasers won't cause permanent damage. But, great point. Oh, and disclaimer, it could bring a criminal charge.

You can get a 1200 watt fiber laser welder that would melt plastic at that distance fairly cheap these days. I can pop balloons at about 30 feet with one of my old 10 watt blue lasers with the narrow cut lense. I have never tried that with the 40 watt one but bet it would do it at 80 feet.

Every time someone post how to defeat a Flock camera, engineers are using that info to make them harder to defeat. Green laser? add a filter to the lens. Strange pattern? add that to the AI learning algorithm.

Yep, countermeasures, they're not stupid.

This is what concerns me the most regarding these cameras. This situation right here. Cameras did their job, identified that she was few miles away from the accident 2 minutes before it occurred, yet the idiot investigators threw common sense out the window and arrested her anyway.

And nobody along that whole chain of fools could use any brain cells for even semi-critical thinking to see this was the wrong lady, and she paid 13 days of her life in jail for the failure of those mental midgets.

Just like this prick, didn't use his brain or have any inclination to do an actual investigation, you know, the thing you're paid to do, to make sure 100% you have the right person instead of relying on technology.

"100% without a doubt it's you"

And people wonder why cops are not trusted..... This is just over the top.

Glad I don't live in that town. We only have flock cameras at the local home depot - they just got installed. I'm trying hard not to patronize them.....
