You know the .gov will never let that happen. Once the surveillance is active, it will never be shut down.

I would imagine it does, when the crime is committed outside and in range of camera view.

Think about what is coming... We now have Starlink, wideband active across the entire planet. Flocks going up at every street corner, every car equipped with cameras, inside and out, phones tracking everyone who carries one, all seamlessly tied in one cohesive landscape. What could go wrong...
