Congratulations and you don't need to worry about it fitting or a trailer:

I've searched but cannot find it.

But there was a gentleman who raced a converted snowmobile in the Pike's Peak International Hill Climb for a least a couple of years back in the early 2000's.

Dude was intense. It was quite the experience to hear a two stroke banging gears through the trees, only to see a dude on a snowmobile come sliding around the asphalt fully counterbalanced.

Fascinating and it might have been this guy from a 2006 Denver Post article.

Rookie driver Kent Peterson, competing in the exhibition division, had a surprise for those at the summit. Peterson was racing a snowmobile he had converted into a quad. His Chameleon Conversion Company converted a Yamaha snowmobile into a quad for the race. The snowmobile quad is in the patent process, but this was the first time it had an authentic demonstration.
“Snowmobiles get very little use since the snow season is so short-lived,” Peterson said. “They are awesome machines. You can easily switch them back and forth – it takes about five hours to do the conversion.”

And on another note - holy cow, I didn't know that Ken Block passed away!

That's the dude!

Your google-foo is strong.

Yeah, most of what I was coming up with was Ken Block stuff too. Seemed like a solid dude, at least he died doing what he loved.

Yes, you absolutely can... Here's my 2024 polaris pro 165 in my 2022 ranger supercrew.

I built a small wooden deck to distribute the load and reduce pressure on the tailgate while loading. The sled won't fit between the wheel wells so I used 2x6 to get high enough. A couple pieces of strapping across and 3/8 plywood on top. The deck is just over 7 feet long. Thinking I'll probably do something that goes in the hitch receiver and supports the back of the deck to reduce tailgate loading further.

The truck takes the weight fine and handles fairly well.
