I wanted to share some gratitude with all of you. My Ford Ranger journey started in about 2021 when I decided to place an order for a 2022 Ranger Lariat Tremor. It was this forum that I spent a lot of time researching and getting my questions answered. Then came time to add a little travel trailer to the family and I used this forum to get my towing questions answered. It may seem like a small thing but people on this forum like @Grumpaw gave me the confidence and guidance I needed to safely tow a trailer with my wife and kids in the truck. We've now completed over 15 trips with no issues and a great setup.

Yesterday I traded in the Ranger for an F150. I had no issues with the truck (with the exception of the DPFE sensor but thanks again to this forum it was an easy fix). My family just outgrew it. It's a great community you all have built here, and I appreciate everyone's help over the years.

If there are a few things I've learned, it's 1) pictures or it didn't happen (see below) 2) Buy a damper damnit 3) Err on the side of caution with towing and invest in WDH/Sway control, leave yourself payload and tow capacity room and you'll be just fine and finally 4) Leverage this great community because there are so many folks willing to help!

Nice truck Matt.....but don't leave the forum. I also left the Ranger ownership world and bought an Expedition to better tow. But I, like several others who also traded to other trucks, stayed here. It's a fun forum and you don't need a Ranger to be here.
And, you might, from what I've heard, find the F-150 forums to be a bit "Blaaaaaaaaaaah" !!!
The Expedition Forum SUCKS BIGTIME !!!! Doubt there are more than 3-4 new posts daily, and the biggest complaint is from the owners of newer Expy's as to.... "Why doesn't my 6000 lb, $90,000.00, 400 HP truck only get 20 mpg" ?
