I wanted to share some gratitude with all of you. My Ford Ranger journey started in about 2021 when I decided to place an order for a 2022 Ranger Lariat Tremor. It was this forum that I spent a lot of time researching and getting my questions answered. Then came time to add a little travel...
Had this code a few weeks ago for the first time on my 22 Tremor with 35K. Swapped the sensor and assembly and all is well. There are some good detailed threads on it as well as a step by step with pictures. Took me about 30 minutes.
EGR DPFE Sensor Assembly Replacement Write-Up (LB5Z-9J433-B)...
Thank you!! Did it tonight - Very smooth thanks to your pictures and tips.
I usually drive in tow or sport, but when I do use standard drive, I was starting to notice some bucking coming on in the first few shifts. Fast forward another 2K miles or so and check engine light comes on - P0402...
Checking back in - Brought the trailer home this weekend and did a few test drives to make sure everything felt dialed and comfortable. From rural backroads, highways, to some interstate driving. Have to say...I am impressed all over again with the truck. Plenty of power. The WDH and sway...
I figured I wouldn't de-rail the forum with all of my trailer specific questions...But sense a few of you are bringing up batteries/solar/boondocking etc... Here is what mine comes with (pretty basic):
12V Interstate 24M marine deep cell battery (1)
185W solar panel (1)
My thought is to add a...
Thank you! I do have some clamp ons that I always throw on when I tow the pontoon boat as it is also 8ft wide. I agree, no chance I would tow without them! I’ll look into the ClearViews.
Thanks! I called my local dealer last week and they said they would have the controller in a week and I’m scheduled to install 2/24. I did not think to ask them if it is the OEM or other. I’ll find out and update if they are still able to order the OEM TBC.
I am about to complete the purchase of our first travel trailer. I have some towing experience (tow a pontoon boat with the truck and utility trailer) but this will be a fairly new adventure. I've done a TON of research on this forum and elsewhere on the towing capabilities to ensure we stay...
Hey Tom - No complaints at all! I’ve been very impressed with the cover. It has been working great. I had a 2 hour drive in torrential downpours with a bunch of gear in the bed. When I got to my destination and dropped the tailgate, everything was dry! Very happy with it.
I did use the seal...
I have been looking around for an affordable Tonneau cover for my 2022 Tremor. I plan to use it 6 months out of the year (tailgating season so no one tries to steal my yeti and snowboarding season). I didn't want to spend a ton on the hard covers. I ended up going with Rough Country's soft cover...
I’ve been following all the discussion about the deleted engine cover and potential issues with rusted in spark plugs. Living in the Northwest…it’s damp and wet 9 months out of the year. If anyone is going to have a problem it’s me! I have a 2022 Lariat Tremor…no engine cover. So I scoured the...

I’ve got a 22’ Tremor in carbonized gray on order. I’d like to match the emblems to the ford logo on the tremor wheels. Hard to tell from pictures, are they black and gray or black and white? Anyone else attempted to match those?
I thought so to! I was preparing for a late Summer build and Fall delivery just based on timing I've seen here. Dealer told me they thought 6-9 months, surprised them as well. Hopefully a good sign of production scheduling stabilizing..
