I would say that I'm curious but have no motivation to actually find out as there are a lot of other variables that could affect any "tests" done. I'll just not let the tank get below 1/4 and call it problem solved :LOL:
Yeah, my comment above was "just saying," but in practice I start looking to fill it up whenever it gets below half....

When I met my future wife, she told me that it seemed her car got better mileage on the first half tank. I told her that gas gauges are not linear, typically. She knew exactly what I meant. (I knew she was a keeper)

I’ve noticed the throttle on my truck seems more responsive with a full tank of gas. If I get down, for example, to 50 miles remaining on the tank it seems more sluggish. Is this in my head or does the truck maximize fuel economy if it’s getting lower on gas? I haven’t noticed a hard cutoff point when this happens but I have noticed that the truck wants to fly out of a gas station in comparison to how it drove in. Could be in my head! E93 gas
Simple reason as Ethanol has less energy..
