WIP: Will update with time

Hi Everyone, long time viewer seldom poster here.

INTRO:
So after buying my Ranger, I decided that I wanted to build it similar to an overland/rescue style truck but still have it functional enough to do more other than carry a couple fuel cans off the side of a rack. I had originally started off with a Tyger Auto Tri-fold tonneau cover and was not thrilled with it at all. The fitment was "meh", you had to spend a few minute aligning the cover to get the perfect seal which at the end of the day still let water in through the top of the tailgate. It needed to be an inch longer. The biggest downfall for me with the tri-fold is the constant need to remove it in order to haul a four-wheeler or anything that may take up a significant amount of space in the bed (2 sets of tires for example) then Immediately needing to take 15-20 minutes installing it and adjusting. I finally got sick of the tri-fold and started my research for a new cover.

What I wanted out of a new cover:
1. Compatibility with a rack or sports bar so I can do 360 lighting - Idea later shelved.
2. Easy to remove or fold so I can install a tent or actually use the bed.
3. Didn't require physical modification of the truck body in any way (cutting or drilling) - I believe the truck should look like it rolled out of the factory when returned to stock

I selected a couple options:
1. Ford hard trifold by Leer - Clearance for around $200
2. SyneticUSA - Included Tslots for a rack, Folded completely without interferenc, difficult to remove, took up space.
3. Bestop Ford accessory - required drilling, reports of back window shattering in cold temps.
4. Softtopper - Was to be top choice, pricey, all or nothing, foldable, compatible with rack, would get sick of it pretty quickly.

Then one night while doom scrolling Tiktok on the toilet, scrolled to an ad, then, I found it, the perfect compromise for what I needed. Fas-Top Traveller pro. 2 in 1 Tonneau and softtop. Pulled the trigger installed and happy.

Review and Thoughts:

This is going to have some very handy tips. If you skipped my intro, at-least read this. Thank you.

What's included in purchase:
2 Rails with T slots.
6 clamps for mounting rails.
1 Tonneau cover assembly
1 Topper Assembly
1 Instructions sheet for install + accessories IIRC
1 Product brochure - Photo gallery + Accessories overview

Install:
The instructions on the site are outdated. So if you're like me and researches instructions before purchase you will be in for a surprise. The 2025+ is very different than shown.
The instructions for assembly are meh. They are not model specific and seem to base fitment on bed length. Not a problem, HOWEVER, you will be missing a crucial seal. I was at least shorted on it so please don't be surprised. You're going to need a bulkhead seal that's at least 30mm tall and 30mm thick and about 5 feet long (you will cut to length). Fortunately, yah boy here spent way to many hours sourcing the perfect seal and Tyger Auto finally released their bulkhead seal for the Ranger covers. It's cheap and shipping is fast n free. I also recommend getting some close cell foam weather stripping of various sizing depending on how bad your OCD is. AliExpress would by my way to go.

You're most likely going to be confused during install because the instructions can be vague and that's ok, feel free to reach out to me for any questions.

Fitment:
Fitment is pretty good, tight in some spots but other than that, I have no real complaints, you will find your self adjusting here and there, but once you have it set to your liking, you shouldn't have to touch it unless you order the rack.

Thoughts so far:

The material I would say is pretty good. The finish on some spots isn't too durable or in spots you wouldn't really notice. If you don't care for looks get the "Sport" model that has the raw finish, it hide the scratches. the bar that secures the rear topper flap in place had a deep gouge in it like clipped a cutting wheel or a saw. It's not noticeable unless you're looking for it but yeah.

The assembly itself it pretty good but the ultimate fit n finish quality is definitely on how much effort that you or the installer put into it. There's so many little adjustments that you can do to really dial it in. All your mounting it done on the T-slot rails included in the kit.

Remember how i said to order extra weather stripping? Yeah, so gripe #1 is that there isn't much in the way for sealing. The rails are at a 45 degree angle with no end caps. There's gaps and you need to fill those gaps if you don't want water intrusion. Go wild. I did enough to where I could see light under the tonneau cover when closed. Having a second person to lock in the bed when looking for spots to seal up definitely helps. There's candy included with purchase so reward them with that.

Rolling up the tonneau is dirt easy and i have no issues with it. Tensioning is straight forward and it has a little ruler stickered on the rails to help.
The Topper is easy to install. It sits on 2 pins and mounts to a vecro strip on the tonneau assembly. It takes a minute to remove entirely. 2 to install.

Unfolding the topper is pretty straight forward and is where my real gripes start so please pay attention here. Don't make the same mistake as me.

When you roll up the tonneau, you want it TIGHT till you get to the end. That's where you'll the to practice and figure out how to store it without it rubbing against the cab. I didn't pay attention here and it ultimately rubbed some paint off my cab where it came in contact. I think I have it dialed now but I am still fiddling with it. I worry that the wind is catching it and pushing towards the cab even though its not touching when stationary. I would recommend getting a section of PPF back there if you really care about the paint.
This is the ONE major flaw with this setup. On previous generations of the combo there was 2 metal bars that the tonneau would lay against and then be secured with an elastic string loop preventing it from rubbing. I understand why they went away with the elastic for longevity reasons i wish they didn't get rid of the bars though. Maybe the new method is supposed to work. But it flexes in the wind due to the bulkhead seal we previously installed so IDK.
Fas-Top, if you're reading this, can you provide insight?

Once you have it installed the topper itself seals pretty good. The Velcro could be a little stronger in my opinion as I found it to come apart a little too easy in the warmer temps when things soften up. My cargo stays dry though. Folding will take practice, but its just as quick if not quicker to fold than to unfold. I don't feel that there's any wasted space here. I can fit a Yamaha blaster + more under the topper and tailgate closed (See pics below).

Anyways, rant/review over. I hope this can help answer questions and prepare future owners. Feel free to ask questions. I will post updates as I go. Like I said, I am satisfied with the product and hope for success and improvement.

Here's some photos I'll provide more as time goes:
