E-Locker axle installed

Yesterday a friend of mine installed my e-locker axle I picked up from a salvage yard. After checking that it worked and that the gears looked good we proceeded to pull everything off my axle and drop it out and install the locker axle. Wired it up to a safety switch on the kick panel as it has lots of room behind it.

How did you wire up the switch to work? Could it be wired to an auxbeam switch panel? I’m planing on doing this to my ranger so that I can have a rear locker.

How did you wire up the switch to work? Could it be wired to an auxbeam switch panel? I’m planing on doing this to my ranger so that I can have a rear locker.

Just made up a harness to run along the frame rail with the other wiring and then was able to get the wires through the existing hole in the in the fire wall with a fish line. My friend had a safety switch so it can't be turned on by accidently bumping it.

So far so good but haven't used it much, only once in some snow just to see how it feels. 4 high actually. Hope to hit some trails this summer.
