Okay looking at the back of my Ranger the exhaust tip sitting crooked or angled down is really annoying me. Has anyone tried MBRP duals on the truck?? I always like that even look.

MBRP Duals installed, just couldn't stand the factory set up. This set up is uniform and clean and has a very low tone all around pretty nice

Where did you find that? The Ranger is not listed on MBRP's website.

First it is Dual not Duel ( which is combat) second if I like it it is not a waste of money so try keeping your opinions to yourself.

I suspect you won't be able to get away from the angled down appearance. The box panels on the truck are angle up towards the rear bumper, so of the exhaust was level, you'd probably see way too much pipe on the sides.

Actually pipes look level from behind and from the sides. You can also slide those tips in or out by quite a lot. Now when you start it you get a nice low tone and know it is running:clap:

Well I stand corrected then. The angle on them always makes it look like the pipes are tucked WAY up underneath the box.

No you are kind of correct. From certain angles the pipes apper to be dipping down especially up close looking down. From a little bit of a distance you see that the pipes are level and the actual truck bed angles up. It is an optical illusion!

can that system be installed without the chrome tips? are the pipes long enough without them?
I prefer to have just plain steel pipe ends

The exhaust pipes themselves would end just about even with the end of the fender on the bed. Basically between fender and bumper space

Ok, Thanks. I may still go with the MBRP system as I like the two pipes at the back as well. I can always find smaller tips if I want. I like the sound of this system and it looks like an easy install

Ok Grammer cop. If you wanted people to keep opinions to themselves, you should not post on public forums.
Sorry if I hurt your feelings.

If we're getting technical... What you are discussing is dual tailpipes. ;)

A true "dual exhaust" would mean replacing the entire exhaust, and installing a header on the engine, & then the dual exhaust. Kind of tricky with a single turbo.
