Not sure what to call this, but my 2019 Ranger drivers side window will not go all the way down when I use the window switch like it used to. It used to go all the way if I used the switch past a certain 'click' point. (agian, hopefully that makes sense)

Is there a setting for that, maybe got changed? Or is it more likely that the switch itself went bad?

Google doing a ford power window reset. It's something like hold the button for down an hold it for 10 seconds after it's all the way down, then roll it all the way up an hold it for ten seconds after it's up.

Awesome. Thanks! That worked.

For anyone else that finds this, I put the ignition in the 'run' position, rolled the window all the way down. released the down button. then pressed the down button for 5 seconds. Then rolled the window all the way up. released the up button. Then held the up switch for 5 seconds.

That fixed it.

LOL, when I bought Soupie, I was with the salesman and tried my driver window (on the XL, only the driver window has auto-down/up). It would go up and down when held but not do the auto thing. The salesman then said "I don't think that's on the XL". What a lame response!

But, having been on this forum for the three months that I waited for my build, I learned many things (plus spent nearly $2000 on bolt on mods before getting Soupie, including buying 303 Graphene!), and having download the sticker through the tracking app (man, I'd check that app many, many times a day!), I knew that my barebones Ranger absolutely had that feature.

So I pulled the window sticker out of the glovebox and showed the salesman. He then called over a tech who "initialized" it. There's actually a service entry showing this "electrical" work.

LOL, BUT ... this is also when I realized that there's no way I'd ever be able to fix this truck as I have with my cars in the past.

Even though I'm old school and carry a nice assortment of tools, I knew, at that point, that the only realistic toolkit would be AAA and a credit card! =)

I had replaced my battery when my truck was in for transmission repair. Maybe it has not been working for that long, but I think I would have noticed it. Battery was replaced about a month or so ago.

Weird.

The instructions to reset the driver side one touch power window is listed in the owner's manual under the Windows and Mirrors section, for future reference.
