Does my Ranger have a leveling kit?

Nick, I've had the RC 2.5" level on mine for 2 years now and it's been fine. I noticed it stiffened up the front just a bit but nothing bad, if anything it made it just a little firmer if that makes any sense. I know the shop manager so I stop in periodically and have them check the alignment and check that all the bolts are still tight and nothings worn. So far so good with 18,000 miles on it.

Thanks so much Dave! I trust you and will therefore continue with my installation next week. They quoted me $490 for the install and alignment and I get to pay for $260 of that with my Ford points.

Anytime Nick. I think in the directions it does say to have then re-check/tighten the bolts after 1000 miles. I would ask the service manager if they're going to do this, for free of course. Let us know how you like it and of course post some pictures.

Thanks, I’m going to be switching tires soon but staying with the same size.

I know the BFG’s are highly rated but they slip really bad in wet weather. I live in Oregon and we get a ton of rain, I’m probably going to go with Cooper At3 4s tires.

I have the Cooper AT3 4S tires & Love them 265/70/17.....NO Noise Also! Eibach adjustable front with Rears Also.....Smooth... very Smooth Ride.

Has anyone experienced a squealing noise after a 2.5 inch level and wheel spacers, I had alignment done and put on new tires

I have the RC 2.5 spacers with stock struts for over a year and a half. No complaints and the ride is just like stock.

I bought my Ranger used with 5,000 miles from a dealer almost two years ago.

It was a one owner but they didn’t really have any info from the previous owner.

I have been told twice by my ford dealer when I have had it in for oil changes that it has a leveling kit installed but I don’t know for certain.

One guy just was complimenting me how good the truck looked with it leveled and the last time I had it in they said it needed an alignment because of the kit.

I have no idea if it does or not but I’m sure if it does and I wanted to see what you guys think.

The previous owner put 265/70/17 BFG K02 tires on it and they don’t rub or anything.

I am not exactly sure what to look for in the front suspension to see if it has a leveling kit.
