Here's a good video show how snow foams work. They really do break down the dirt and grime and help keep your finish from getting scratched. I know some think just rinsing with water works but you can see here there's still a lot of dirt left on the surface when you just rinse with water.

Dave-
Cracks me up these YouTubers (isn't that a vegetable?) try to conduct an experiment. They describe the "Introduction" and "Methods", and then they don't execute the methods the same to all variables. If you are going to use a "Control" you have to treat it the same as to all the dependent variables to see if there is a significant relationship with your independent variable.
The example was running his finger down all of the stripes. I got to that point and I couldn't watch anymore. I really need to get out of school, I'm becoming the nerdy Professor from Gilligan's Island!

lol When I first watched the video I thought he was going to foam a different vehicle with each snow foam showing the results. But I guess that would've made for an awful long video and people would've lost interest. I like Pan but his videos can get dragged out at times so I can see why he did the test this way. I guess he could've just skipped the whole testing and said water doesn't do as good a job as snow foam and made a 1:00 video. ?

It would have been better to do a whole panel with each (fender, door, hood) to see the difference. I watched on guy testing if the different levels of automatic car washes made a difference. He taped a trash bag over half the hood an did the basic an the full service wash an tried to detect a difference. It showed some difference but it was hard to measure.
